About Us

Walk the Landscape is a small company, based near Banbury, providing short break walking holidays in the Cotswolds for people who are interested in knowing more about nature and history of the countryside through which they walk.

It was started by Anne Martis who wanted to share her love and knowledge of the landscape with fellow walkers.     She is an experienced walk leader who has led popular guided walks for some time in the North Cotswolds for the Cotwold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Anne has a degrees in botany and agricultural science and has worked as an associate lecturer for the Open University for a number of years.    She is also an active Parish Councillor in the rural community in which she lives.
